How does a riding airbag work?Updated 8 hours ago
A riding airbag works using a CO₂ cartridge.
On a mechanical model like the Twist’Air, the rider must attach the vest’s strap to the saddle. In the event of a fall, the distance between the rider and the saddle becomes abnormal: the trigger ball is released, the cartridge is activated, and the gas instantly fills the air cushions.
The system deploys in a fraction of a second to protect the rider before impact with the ground.
